n March 11, 2012 the 38th edition of the ABN AMRO CPC Run The Hague will take place again. This family event in The Hague attracts thousands of participants and visitors every year. Young and old, schools and businesses, there is a suitable distance for everyone in the Royal city.

Naturally, the international interest in the ABN AMRO CPC Run The Hague will be in the Half Marathon, the course where the Kenyan Samuel Wanjiru ran the world record (58: 33 hours) in 2007. The ABN AMRO CPC Run The Hague, is however much more than that! Many thousands of runners and spectators enjoy the Ernst & Bobbie Children’s Run 1 km, the ABN AMRO Youth Run 2.5 km, the West 5 km Run (incl. Business Runs) and Dunea 10 km Run (incl. Business Runs). The route runs over the beautiful avenues in The Hague in the direction of Scheveningen and via the Nieuwe Parklaan back to the finish on the Malieveld, where many enthusiastic spectators will be present to cheer-on the runners. The event has a strong regional bias, but with international allure. The ABN AMRO CPC Run The Hague has a right to be called a tradition because it houses the biggest schools’ run of Netherlands with over 8,600 children taking part from no less than 83 schools.

Op 11 maart 2012 vindt alweer de 38e editie plaats van de ABN AMRO CPC Loop Den Haag. Dit Haagsche familie-evenement trekt jaarlijks tienduizenden deelnemers en bezoekers. Jong en oud, scholen en bedrijven, voor iedereen is er een geschikte afstand in de Hofstad!

Uiteraard gaat internationaal de belangstelling voor de ABN AMRO CPC Loop Den Haag uit naar de ABN AMRO Halve Marathon, het parcours waar de Keniaan Samuel Wanjiru in 2007 het wereldrecord liep (58:33 uur). De ABN AMRO CPC Loop Den Haag is echter veel meer dan dat! Vele duizenden lopers en toeschouwers beleven plezier aan de Ernst & Bobbie Kinderloop 1 km, de ABN AMRO Jeugdloop 2,5 km, de West 5 km Loop (incl. Business Runs) en Dunea 10 km Loop (incl. Business Runs). Het parcours voert over de prachtige Haagse lanen richting Scheveningen en via de Nieuwe Parklaan weer terug naar de finish op het Malieveld, waar vele enthousiaste toeschouwers zullen staan om de lopers aan te moedigen. Het evenement heeft een sterke regionale binding maar wel met internationale allure. De ABN AMRO CPC Loop Den Haag kan met recht een traditie genoemd worden en het huisvest tevens de grootse scholenloop van Nederland met ruim 8600 kinderen van maar liefst 83 scholen.
