Isn’t there a big tizz about pubs in Soho not being able to cater for outside drinkers? The Endurance are moaning about it I think…

Yeah I’ve heard mixed report - either it’s just one pub (the Endurance) because of specific instances, or it’s a big Westminster Council conspiracy to ban outside drinking across the whole of Soho, which would be a nightmare in summer.

Was there every any clarity on this? Banning standing outside pubs drinking in Soho is an odd thing to do as:
a) that’ll be the smokers off to drink somewhere else
b) most of the pubs in soho are pretty small and if their clientele can’t spill onto the streets, it won’t be long until they are pretty closed…

I’m not the biggest fan of The Endurance, but i cant see this being the end of things. Westminster council are going to do this to a lot more pubs in the area I reckon.
