I hear that the Nokia one is supposed to be good, but it seems a tad expensive. Amazon brings up this, and it has good reviews:

That’s not that expensive. But sadly, I think I don’t have the money for stuff like that at the moment. I just moved and need everything for new furniture and stuff.

If we’d like to play a game, AFAIK not everyone needs to have a GPS device as we can play in teams.
But… you might be able to find a cheaper generic GPS device @ Saturn.

What do you have? Integrated GPS in your $800-phone? ;)
And I’d LOVE to try out this game.I feel the urge to buy one of these GPS devices, but… must … not … spend … money … on … stuff.

Okay. I’m rational now:
Since I will buy an iPhone (as you might know, has integrated GPS support) in a few months anyhow, there’s no need for me to purchase another GPS device.

I do not believe there is Tourality support for the iPhone 3g, as it’s a java application, and these will not run on the iPhone.
Yes, i have integrated GPS in my phone.
(BTW total cost of ownership on the iPhone 3G is still considerably higher than a $800 phone with a pre-paid sim, but that’s a discussion better suitable for the “Q Mobile” group: http://www.qype.co.uk/groups/824-Q-Mobile )

I bet there’ll be an iPhone version as soon as that thing’s out on the market.
And I want one. Not just because I’m an Apple fanboy, but because I think it’s the best phone/internet communications device ever.

Who knows? With the SDK and all i bet they’d have a version of Tourality for the iPhone 3g at some point.
