Just started the south beach diet and need good low carb recipes, how knows any????

I was on a low carb diet for medical reasons and found roasted veg a winner, butternut squash, swede etc ditto for soups.
Villagers sausages in Beckenham do no gluten sausages which takes the carbs out too.
If you search on specific carbohydrate diet there are tons of recipes.
Good luck! making them non dull is the tricky bit, cheese and cilli are my friends

i don’t find veg at all dull- just look online and you will find loads of veg friendly ideas. i must admit (you lot will probably find this weird) i am partial the the occasional raw brussel sprout!. BTW just a mention, but brussels don’t actually smell bad unless cooked to the point of extinction!

BDS, I’ve often had a problem making veg interesting without bathing them in unhealthy butter etc - any favourites you could share?
