Carrow Road is the home of Norwich City football club.
It has a capacity of 26,034, which it often reaches, especially for the more popular matches, such as the East Anglian Derby against Ipswich Town. It is also used for international matches, notably for the England under-21s team.Of the 4 stands, the Jarrold Stand is generally regarded as the best stand to be situated in, due to the presence of 3 large TV screens, showing highlights of all the match action. The Barclay End is where you want to be if you like loud fans, though.
The half-time entertainment leaves a bit to be desired if you don’t like distorted music through half-broken speakers (unless Delia breaks open the cooking sherry again, of course).
One good thing of note is the Holiday Inn Hotel, which is owned by the club and faces onto the pitch, allowing visitors who have a pitch-facing room to view the match from their window.
The stadium is also used for music concerts.
Tickets (for football matches, available by calling 08448 261902) vary in price, but will cost in the region of £15-£30, depending on where you want to be in the crowd, your age etc.
An additional cost you may want to pay is the £3 cost for the match program.
