OMG!! I have NEVER been so tired or hungry!!

We stayed here with friends in December 2008 having had a great meal here a couple of years before…..bad move!!

The rooms have that 'wow, I bet these used to look really good once’ feel to them.

The shower was cruel and liked to scald one minute and freeze the next…although you had to dart under the tiny trickle of water to work out which one it was doing.

The food was lovely - and if you are about 8 years old you would have felt completely full by the end of it….we hadn’t eaten since breakfast as we were 'saving ourselves’ so we had to go back to the room and fight over the complimentary biscuits to try and fill the gap after the meal!!

And so to bed…........which was when we found out they seemed to have a nightclub under the hotel and we were kept awake until 4am by revellers having a much better time than we were!! We mentioned this fact when we checked out and were assured that they would be in touch to let us know what they could do for us….....i’m sure they must have just lost our address…....it’s only been 8 weeks….....I’m certain they will contact us soon…....

We always go here for treats and special occasions - the food is absolutely fantastic, the setting is beautiful….

been there twice. Food always looks fantastic but the taste never seems to live up to the presentation….perhaps I just got bad nights as everyone else seems to rave about it!

can’t fault it - absolutely fantastic every time…
