John Green le 8 novembre 2012My daughter introduced this pub to me a few weeks ago. Very good result....!
Yet another place to eat in Chi...especially as I normally park by The Festival Theatre.
Very much a traditional pub with quite a varied menu. The Panfried Veal Escallope mit Jus looked and smelled good, as did the chef's Beef Ghoulash....but not for us.
Lyn went with the Chargrilled Tiger Prawn Skewer, and I for Seared Swordfish Steak....both with salad or veg with New Pots, chips or spicy wedges. Excellent choice.
Daughter, Natasha chose the King Prawns wrapped in Filo as she's not a big eater....another good choice.
Great selection of ales/lagers, if you're not driving.....well recommended

John Green le 31 octobre 2012We tried this place a couple of months ago and wasn't really impressed. A rather grand building that has been converted and does look very nice but it just doesn't have the WOW factor for us.
We though a £2.00 cup of tea a bit much...£2.00 for Pepsi too steep and £5.30 for a bacon sandwich..way over the top!!
Yesterday we lunched at opposite at Confucius. As we crossed the road, staff from The Buttery were offering people tasters to come in....!

John Green le 31 octobre 2012I can always count on finding my Lyn in here, IF, I cannot find her anywhere else in Chi...(that is before cell phones)!
A simple in/out shop with no extra aisles, that could be easily missed from the street. The main lighting is subdued but this accenctuates the interesting and diverse stock on show. Such delicate workmanship and brilliant designs.
I actually like coming in here...the staff are soooo nice, as well as attractive.
Not expensive generally, but there are items that you will have shell out quite a bit.
Nice place to be....

John Green le 31 octobre 2012Well lit and presented shop that has an inbuilt magnet which draws discerning ladies of quality and taste like pins!! Well, this seems to be the case with my Lyn....and with good reason. This store has a terrific range of shoes. handbags and other items. It really is a pleasure to go there. They also have some beautiful handmade cards for individual members of family....I bought an absolute dream of a Christmas card for my daughter, in which they put my own message. Great stuff.
Could be seen as pricey, but you won't mind because of the attitude, courteousy and approach of the staff.

John Green le 5 octobre 2012We have a client staying here for a couple weeks. I had to visit regarding medication and was overwhelmed with the extremely high standard here. It has to be one of the best places I have had to visit in relation to Nursing Care.
Staff were immaculate in manners, courtesy, dress and attitude. My client is well pleased....so much so, I may not get her back!!!!
Well Done and my compliments on your success.

John Green le 8 septembre 2012Situated in a lovely area between Pook and Sheepwash Lane, this pub has quite a following. It is, in fact, the village's only pub...
Not in my usual category of pub food, as I consider it a bit pricey, especially for "local". However, the food is good and I would recommend it for a "Special" occasion, as was yesterday with our son. At present they are in the middle of "The Five Festivals", a celebration of pub food, the next event being on the 22nd Sept, with Game.

John Green le 25 août 2012As we were in and around Chi for the day, I popped into here re: a networking project I've been planning. Very glad I did, as they were so helpful......seem to know what they were talking about.
Been in busuiness since the Eighties so have come through quite a lot of computer advances. They can offer you very comprehensive services, upgrades, networking and even still maintain typewriters, (where they started).
Well worth a look if you're in the vacinity
Parking can be a bit "iffy"....
