Les Bains de Breteuil - Préfecture

When you arrive at the Bains de Breteuil, you already feel at ease: the aroma of essential oils, the mint tea that they offer you (and not just the once!), the green and mauve décor… The baths comprise of 2 rooms, one temperate, one hot. The scrubs they offer are really original, I recommend the one with brown sugar! The massage rooms are spacious, you’ve got soft music… When you come out, you feel completely relaxed! You’re offered samples of creams when you leave. The one catch is the price, it’s around 45 euro for the baths and scrub, and that rises to 59 if you opt for the massage as well. But I assure you it’s worth it!

A very pretty shop, selling well on all the Agatha jewellery that we know! Ideal for a present! It is located in one of the most fashionable streets of Marseille, not far from the other shops in the town centre.

For me, one of the best restaurants in Marseilles! Ok it’s a bit expensive if you don’t only have sushi but you can easily share the dishes in order to try more! The salmon skewers are excellent! (ok it’s not very Japanese) I really like the décor of the place and that of the dishes!! For dessert, I advise you to have the chocolate and banana spring rolls! hmmm.. good, for sure, it’s quite noisy but you can see the cooks bustle about! It’s ideal when you’re in a big group as there are large tables! Try it!

If you’re looking for Marseille’s specialities, I’ll advise you to go to Dromel Aîné! They have lots of different sweets. The shop is amazing, a delight for the sight ! Be careful though cause very good specialities mean a certain price.

Well, they say it’s a market but it’s only two or three farmers who are selling their fruits and vegetables every morning till 1pm. They’re just in front of the Palais De Justice. You can find them all year round and if you go and buy a certain amount of products from the one whose stall is the closest to the Palais De Justice, he will let you taste some and might even give you some for free.

This fitness center is very modern with a jacuzzi and hammam (Turkish bath) for relaxing moments. If you’re not very keen on machines, you will find a group course that will suit your needs to work out a particular part of the body (abdomen, buttocks…) or to let off steam by dancing! If you have a precise goal, not a problem, somebody is there to help you create a personalized program. And it’s open on Sunday morning! Conclusion: very good value for money.

I’m crazy about that shop. There are different atmospheres which means you smell or hear different things depending on where you’re standing in the shop. If you’re lucky and it’s not too crowded; shop assistants can offer you a nice cup of tea. The products they sell are respectful of Old Mother Nature. You can find toys, books, whatever you need to go mountainhiking, cosmetics, jewellery or things to help you decorate your home. The one you have in Bourse shopping center is kind of small and gets packed easily, nevertheless i strongly recommend it to you.

A shop entirely dedicated to Swatch watch. The decoration is pretty good and the shop is really well organised. Shop assistants are there to help you. Everyone can find his watch : men, women or kids. Most of the articles are around 80euros and some are very original and beautiful. Si you feel like buying a watch, I strongly recommend you to go there and I hope you’ll find what you’re looking for

I was pleasantly surprised by the prices! (Around 450 euros to go to Lille and back again in a 10m3 van!) The staff at this branch is very efficient and even at the peak hour at 8 am, we didn’t wait for more than 10 minutes. As an added bonus, they offer you a model of a higher category when they cannot give you the one you picked!

This small convenience store is located in the city centre and is very handy for last minute shopping! The manager is very friendly and will be quite happy to chat with you. As with all convenience stores, the products are priced a bit high, but you will easily find what you need. It remains open until 8.30-9.00 pm every day, even on Sundays!
