McDonald's Restaurants - City of London

50 Liverpool Street, London EC2M 7PR

I’ve given it a one because I shouldn’t be promoting the label or food which isn’t that healthy.

However you cannot turn a blind eye to a BIG MAC MEAL.
Two layers of meaty goodness, salad, 3 burger baps and burger sauce to top it off. Crispy fries and ice cold coca-cola on the side.
I’m not sure who else craves carbs when they have a hangover but I sure do and that’s why to me I would say it is the best hangover food.
(Though I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone trying to watch their weight, I only endulge as I’m as thin as a pole and don’t seem to put on weight due to high metabolism)
:)

Every charity shop is great.
You can find the most unusual things and at the best prices.
Oxfam is the fave charity shop of mine!
Get inside have a look around and you have immediately found something that you want to buy.
I love getting the really old style big jumpers because you can always find the really cool ones with the old fashioned style prints.
I also love getting jewellery because you can find really good quality necklaces, bracelets and rings. Not forgetting how unusual they can also be. Normally I get pearls, I simply love the old fashioned tiny clasps.
If you can’t stand following a trend, and want to find something different, one word: OXFAM.
Cool second-hand clothes it’s as simple as that and
most importantly your money goes to a good cause!

The Lock Tavern - Camden

35 Chalk Farm Road, Camden, London NW1 8AJ

A very cool bar that looks like a big studio flat.
It is situated to the left of the Camden Lock up the cobbled path past the market which is usually very busy in the daytime.
As you enter there is the bar to your left and in front of you, you have the choice of sitting in the high wooden chairs or low sofa’s placed opposite each other.
There is a large wide wooden staircase which takes you to the upper seating area which consists of more sofa type arm chairs in lines opposite each other or again there is the choice of sitting with a table and set of chairs.
The vibe is very chilled, and relaxed with dim lights.
There is also a very big outdoor seating area with large wooden bench tables and big red canopy’s over them with touchsensor heaters underneath them.
The prices are quite average for wine and beer or the usual.
Cocktails were about £5.00 each but I have to say are very very good. (Try the one with strawberries and vodka!)
I definitely love coming here and it’s right near camden high street so it’s alway easy to move on if need be.
:)

One of the favorite places to go in London and vastly becoming very well-known. It’s easy to find and there is always heaps of people no matter the time of day or time of year.
Which is probably why it doubles up as a great cafe/salad bar by day and a pumping bar/club by night!
It sort of resembles a squat with the large comfortable cushions placed everywhere and the candles to dimly light the room.
There is a range of foods from salads and sandwiches to cakes, brownies and flapjacks.
Outside there is a large seating area of brown picnic tables and a BBQ serving hot food like burgers and hot dogs and spicy chicken.
They sell a range of drinks from the most usual to cans of Jamaican Lager most known by students called Red Stripe.
Oh and a shot of tequila is £2.50. Now you can’t say fairer than that.
Inside and upstairs is where you meet most of the mayhem, with two rooms of music and a load of the most unusual characters you can find in one space.
There is normally events like student film shows on mid-week and then towards the end of the week club nights with some cool new-age DJ’s .
It’s fun, it’s young and if your not keen on having one of those spend heaps of money weekends then it’s the place for you.
