Firstly, please do not follow the map indications above as the site was not showing its correct location but I cannot really place it in the map.
The important thing is that it is within the maze of streets off the main square, Djemaa el Fna, so very central.
This place is to die for. It really is like out of a fairy tale, just unreal. Hidden within this maze, it is a very exclusive gem.
The hotel was empty when we got there, we were just exploring the area and I cannot remember how exactly I came across this place, or if I had heard of it of something. But I remember distinctively that I had grown fed up or not being able to eat anything other than tagine or cous cous and was looking for an alternative for a dinner.
So anyway, the thing is that we got to this place, and we were greeted by a French girl that was running the place, and she was delighful. She showed us around the whole place (amazing).
We wanted to have dinner there but it is only on a booking basis. So we booked dinner for our last night in Marrakech as a special treat, and being as we were the only ones that had booked dinner for that evening we pretty much got to choose the menu we wanted (!)
Now, on the night of the dinner, everything was perfect. The setting of the terrace is amazing, with different areas: bar area, sunbathing area, swimming pool, dinner area...
We were the only ones there and the service was amazing, the best I have ever had.
Not only they were attentive to our every need, when they noticed that coming to the end of the evening I was starting to feel a bit cold, they took a blanket out for me :)
The food was fantastic too, but everything else was so perfect that even if the food wasn't that good, it would not have mattered.
I really cannot rate it enough.
If you go to Marrakech, try and make a stop on this place.
Btw, fantastic place for a romantic dinner.
PS. Price-wise, I cannot remember very well how much it came up to, but I remember that I was very happy with the final price considering the overall experience.
